Time drags onwards tugging us behind.
All of existence is attached to the
trailer hitch
of the careening spiral
we have given the name "Time".
We have not even the slightest nuance of an idea
as to why we do so.
Perhaps there is a survival instinct
encoded within the layers of our DNA
that pushes us forward in the eternal race
to the finish line we will never truly reach.
